The Inter-Institutional Program makes it possible for UNC-CH students to take classes at other participating institutions, including Duke University and North Carolina State University. Guidelines and procedures for inter-institutional registration are available in the Undergraduate Bulletin and on the Office of the University Registrar’s Inter-Institutional Program web page.
- If you wish to use the inter-institutional class for a major or minor requirement, contact the director of undergraduate studies of the major or minor department for approval. On the form, the director of undergraduate studies must indicate exactly which requirement the inter-institutional course is fulfilling.
- If you wish to use the inter-institutional class as a General Education requirement, contact the Office of Undergraduate Curricula.
- Students must bring all completed forms to Academic Advising for final approval by an advisor and academic advising dean.
