BiographyI am a Tar Heel born and bred! I graduated from UNC in 2011 with a BA in Psychology and a minor in English. After spending many semesters at UNC as an undeclared major I found my true calling, working within student affairs to aid students in forging their own academic and career paths. I went on to study at Clemson University and received my Master of Education in Counselor Education-Student Affairs in May 2013. While at Clemson I worked as a graduate assistant in the College of Architecture, Arts and Humanities, specifically working closely with the undeclared students. My other experiences include working at Furman University with Student Activities, Tri-County Community College in Career Services and Southern Wesleyan University in the Department of Athletics. I love to cheer on the Tar Heels and the Tigers, though when up against each other I pull for Carolina 100% of the time! I also enjoy watching almost any sport, reading many different types of books, running, playing with any kind of animal and live theater.

BiographyOriginally from Essex Junction, Vermont (yes, she’s a Northerner), Sarah chose to move south for college because she was looking for a change of scenery and a totally new experience. She attended Coastal Carolina University in Conway, South Carolina, where she graduated with a degree in History in 2011. Because she couldn’t fathom moving back to Vermont after undergrad, Sarah decided to attend graduate school at “the Other Carolina”; her master’s degree is in Higher Education and Student Affairs. When she’s not working with students, Sarah likes to exercise (not CrossFit), take day trips exploring different places around North Carolina, and spend time with her boyfriend.

BiographyI’m a native of the Chicago suburbs (Addison, IL specifically) and brand new to North Carolina. I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master’s Degree in Human Services and Counseling from DePaul University. I began my academic advising journey with schools in the Chicago suburbs and central Illinois, eventually making my way here to UNC. I am very excited to be here! In my free time, I’m either watching or talking with someone about sports (I’m a rabid sports fan and will talk about any subject), doing the occasional crossword puzzle or reading a non-fiction book.
