BiographyAnna grew up in Indianapolis, IN and earned her B.S. in Secondary Education from Indiana University. After her undergraduate degree she worked as a flight attendant to see the world outside of the Midwest. Anna’s interest in global awareness, social impact, and higher education took her to New York City where she earned her M.Ed. in Counseling from Hunter College. She worked at New York University as an academic advisor in Liberal Studies and Global Liberal Studies prior to her work here at UNC as an academic advisor in the Social and Behavior Science Division. As a loyal Hoosier, the Tarheels have found a way into her heart and she enjoys watching UNC basketball. Anna also enjoys swimming, hiking, biking, and spending time outdoors with her wonderful family. Stop by her office to say hello!
