N. Nicole Cobb holds a Master of Arts in Teaching English as a Second Language and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resource Management. She joined the Natural Science and Mathematics Division in August of 2012 as an academic advisor and also teaches in the School of Education. Prior to moving to Chapel Hill in 2010, she was the Learning Specialist Coordinator/Advisor for the Scholastic Enhancement Program (SEP) and taught English Composition for International Students at Miami University of Ohio. Nicole has also served as an ESL/Literacy Coordinator at the Southeast Asia Center in Chicago and as an ESL instructor at the University of Oklahoma’s Center for English as a Second Language. She has worked with a diverse student population both in advising and teaching. Outside of work, she enjoys playing tennis, reading, gardening, and hanging out with her husband and two beautiful daughters.
