Tony grew up in Wilmington, NC. He graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management and Society and a minor in Exercise & Sports Science – Coaching Education. Continuing his education, Tony earned his Master of Arts degree in Liberal Studies at Wake Forest University. After graduating from UNC, Tony dedicated the next eight years of his life to coaching basketball, including seven years collegiately and one year professionally in Japan, before embarking on a new career in university academic advising. As this new chapter in his life unfolds, two things are certain: Tony is passionate about (1) the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and (2) assisting its undergraduate students in achieving their academic and professional goals. In his free time, Tony enjoys spending time with his family, weekend trips to Wilmington, attending UNC sporting events, and coaching high school basketball.
