What I enjoy most about working with students:
Helping them navigate their time at UNC and talking through new ideas and exploring possibilities to help an experience that feels meaningful and holistic.

I did 2 years of Americorps helping adult learners get their GEDs in Albuquerque, NM and Austin, TX
Lowest grade I got as an undergrad:
I got a B in math 118 and never darkened the doorway of Phillips hall ever again.
If I didn’t work for Advising I would:
I would like to work in a study abroad office and/or lead small group trips abroad. I would also like to get an animal assisted therapy certification and do therapy with folks on a farm with dogs, goats, pigs, and donkeys.
Bucket list item:
I try to read every book on NPRs list of best books every year (haven’t yet managed to do it 100% but I keep trying!) I would also like to do a long distance bike tour in France. I also would very much like to spend a significant amount of time living in a Spanish speaking country (ideally Uruguay) and becoming fluent in the language.
