Academic Advising

It's summer at Carolina!

New students, Welcome! We will see you at Orientation.  Please visit our Newly Admitted Students page to access a wealth of information to help you get started on the right foot.

Please note:  Incoming First-Year students will receive academic advising and register for classes during their summer orientation.  Transfer students should register as soon as possible (prior to orientation).  We encourage transfer students to schedule a phone, Skype or office appointment to get preliminary academic advising questions answered.

Continuing students and students enrolled in Summer School are welcome to bring brief questions and concerns to advisors during our daily summer walk-in hours:  2:00-3:30 pm starting Monday, May 14.

To change or declare a major or minor or to discuss matters that require more time, please schedule an appointment.  Phone or Skype appointments are available if you are not in the Triangle region.
